Inzy to lead Pakistan XI again, in ICL

Inzamam-ul-Haq will captain one of two new teams in the latest Indian Cricket League event this month as the Lahore Badshahs will feature only Pakistanis.
Former Pakistan captain Inzamam, who retired from Tests in October, played for the Hyderabad Heroes in the inaugural event in November and December, but since an influx of new Pakistani recruits occurred he will now lead the all-Pakistani team in the new-look eight-team league.
The Badshahs squad will also include: Azhar Mahmood, Taufeeq Umar, Imran Farhat, Mushtaq Ahmed, Saqlain Mushtaq, Rana Naved-ul-Hasan, Shahid Nazir, Hasan Raza, Naveed Latif, Humayun Farhat, Imran Nazir, Mohammad Sami, Arshad Khan and Riaz Afridi.
Elswehere, former Australia batting star Damien Martyn will lead the Ahmedabad Rockets – the second new team.
Other new signings for the ICL see West Indies fast bowler Tino Best link up with Brian Lara’s Mumbai’s Champs, ex-West Indies all-rounder Wavell Hinds will play under Martyn for the Gujarati side, New Zealand paceman Shane Bond will play for the Delhi Giants and New Zealand batsman Lou Vincent, who quit the Black Caps last month, will play for former team-mate Chris Cairns with the Chandigarh Lions.
