Former Pakistan captain Inzamam, who retired from Tests in October, played for the Hyderabad Heroes in the inaugural event in November and December, but since an influx of new Pakistani recruits occurred he will now lead the all-Pakistani team in the new-look eight-team league. The Badshahs squad will also include: Azhar Mahmood, Taufeeq Umar, Imran Farhat, Mushtaq Ahmed, Saqlain Mushtaq, Rana Naved-ul-Hasan, Shahid Nazir, Hasan Raza, Naveed Latif, Humayun Farhat, Imran Nazir, Mohammad Sami, Arshad Khan and Riaz Afridi. Elswehere, former Australia batting star Damien Martyn will lead the Ahmedabad Rockets – the second new team.
